My 2 Makeup Essentials.

When it comes to my makeup, I like to keep it simple. My main focus: the eyes and golden toned skin. I frequently get compliments about my skin which always makes me smile a huge thank you in return, and occasionally I’ll get questions about what I use to achieve this look. My secret is 2 very important and very simple things:

  1. Covergirl | LastBlast Fusion Water Resistant Mascara
This product is one of my favorites, and it doesn’t make my wallet want to cry when I run out! I get this product at Target and I always stick with Water Resistant – this makes my ultimate summer makeup list because not even the waves can ruin this look. It keeps my eyelashes curled and adds enough volume and lift that’ll last all day long. Eyelashes are totally my thing.
  2. Becca | Shimmering Skin Perfector Creme Highlighter
This is my 5 in 1 step highlighter. If I’m wearing any type of makeup, I’m wearing this one. I use it for everything! I use it as eyeshadow, the inner corner of my eyes, above my brow, my cheekbones, and the bow of my lips. I’m not a fan of the typical highlighter, sparkly isn’t my thing. But this product, however, gives my skin the perfectly glazed look. It almost makes my skin look like a glazed donut good enough to eat.😉 – I use Golden Opel Pearl because it matches my skin perfectly. You can find this product either in store or online at Sephora and Ulta Beauty.

I hate having to slave away in front of the mirror before going out or going to work. With these products, it’s simple. Especially with my Becca Shimmering Creme, it’s everything my face needs to capture my favorite look in one little compact. Simple never felt better.
