So I’ll be honest here, I’m officially turning into one of those people who’s lives revolve around their laptop. Never in a million years would I think this would be possible, but here I am, typing away on my MacBook Pro, feeling all giddy because my new case and matching keyboard cover came in the mail today.
Blame it on the blogging
Shortly after making the decision to become a blogger, I came to the realization that my old Dell laptop wasn’t suitable for getting the job done. So a few months ago I bucked up the courage to go out and get myself my first MacBook laptop. I’ll also admit that I did splurge a little too. Whoops! I definitely don’t regret this decision though, not even in the slightest.
Support what you love
To this day I still find it completely weird that I started blogging. Sometimes I still find myself nervous about it from time to time. Of course I get the occasional teasing, but surprisingly enough, it doesn’t effect me as deeply anymore. Why? Because I’ve never felt more happy with myself since starting this whole journey. I write because I love it. And because it’s something that I love, I went ahead and bought the laptop. And this laptop, again, has made this new lifestyle even more enjoyable. In the near future I even plan on upgrading my phone to an iPhone Plus. Why? Because I like taking pictures, and I know I’ll be capable of taking even more beautiful pictures with it’s camera, which will also help grow even more possibilities for my blogging. I have goals and plans that I would like to reach with this new lifestyle, but in order to reach them, I can never stop investing into it.
Invest in what you love
So for those of you who have a hobby that makes you completely and utterly happy and giddy inside, don’t be afraid to put more time, or even money, into it. Invest in what you enjoy, and it will become a bigger part of your life. So, go out and buy the laptop, buy the camera, buy those new running shoes, buy that new bat, take the classes, hire the personal trainer. Invest in your hobby, and I promise, you’ll be thanking yourself later.
